Welcome to the New Era Dental Society Web Site. I am happy you have taken the time to explore our web site and learn about us.

As you can see from our history we have been around for over 40 years. We take pride in our rich history thanks to the struggles of those before us. We represent African American and minority dentists in the Philadelphia area.

We are also committed to the dental needs of our local and national communities.

We are a proud chapter of the National Dental Association and we actively serve the political and social needs of our members and patients.

The New Era Dental Society offers many valuable services to its members. Through our corporate alliances and local connections we provide discounts on supplies, lectures, continuing education courses and social activities.

We meet 6-8 times per year on the third Wednesday. Our meetings always include an exciting guest speaker and a delicious meal. Our meetings are opened with prayer and end with networking and fellowship.

Throughout the year we participate in numerous health fairs throughout the city.

We also provide dentists for the traveling Colgate Dental Van.

We have an annual Scholarship and Holiday Gala every December. This is when we give scholarships to local dental students and Hygiene students. We also take this time to honor our past presidents. It is always a good time and ends with great dancing and fellowship.

On behalf of all of our members and supporters we welcome you to join with us and learn more about us.

Our calendar is posted for your convenience.
